CANON

POST-SEASON 2 (CANON AS OF AUTUMN 2015)

This One's For The Faithless  by  monroeslittle

Summary: “He couldn’t worry about her, about how she’d fare, and whether she’d find her way home eventually, or make a home with strangers, learning to forget the friends she’d killed for. He needed to worry about those friends, to look after their people like she’d asked him to.“She doesn’t need us to go after her,” Raven said. “She knows how to survive.” They’d trust her to return when she was ready, and to look after herself in the meantime.”

The Conversation  by  Jeanie205

Summary: After a few months away, Clarke has returned to Camp Jaha, and Bellamy has so many things he wants to say to her, and to ask her, but he doesn't know where to begin. So they just haven't had that conversation. In fact, they're not talking much at all. But an unexpected journey might give them the opportunity to finally figure it all out.

A New Beginning Again  by  srmiller

Summary: Six months after leaving Camp Jaha, Clarke has returned. She wasn't sure what she'd expected but Bellamy's distance, Octavia's anger, and Raven's revelation that Bellamy had started drinking and not sleeping wasn't it.

Bellamy hadn't known what he would do when Clarke came back--he'd understood her need to leave, to heal, but he also knew by walking away she'd left him to carry the weight of what they'd done in the mountain and he wasn't sure if he could trust her the same again.
But Clarke brings back word from her meeting with the high commander of the Trikru at Polis and it's the kind of news which could change everything and if they're lucky, begin to make things right again.

Something To Hold On To   by    crystalkei

Summary: Clarke has been walking for three days trying to come to terms with her decisions and how to live with the person she’s become after everything that’s happened in Mount Weather. Bellamy finds her and offers a field trip if she wants in. Travel 250 miles to where another section of the Ark fell to collect a part Raven needs.

Cinderblock Garden  by  winterwaters

Summary: "It’s the middle of Season 3. Clarke has left Polis by then and Bellamy is out on some kind of mission and gets separated from his group. They haven’t seen or spoken to each other since their goodbye at Camp Jaha about a month ago. They both get abducted by a grounder clan, neither of them aware that they’re about to be thrown into the same place and used as leverage for some kind of deal.
Then the grounders take the bags off their heads and they find themselves sitting.
Right across from each other.
And then we get a few episodes of them forced to be in the same space. Unable to be separated. In any way. Whatsoever."

Carry You WIth Me  by   kay_emm_gee

Summary:   Clarke comes back, and shes finds whatever peace she gained in her time away might not have been worth what (who) she lost in the process.
Clarke leaves, and Bellamy is not longer skin and bones, but fire and ash, a living flame ablaze and angry at being left behind yet again.
They meet again, and it is nothing short of apocalyptic..

I've Fallen Out Of Favor (I've Fallen From Grace)  by  labonsoirfemme

Summary: “So that’s it. You led an army to Mount Weather for our friends and now you’re just gonna sit back let the Council decide everything else without even hearing what they want to do?"

"I’m done deciding who lives and who dies."

[Speculative post-S2-finale fic; canon compliant through "Bodyguard of Lies.”]

And All Your Little Things  by  Elle_Song

Summary: Clarke looked down at her upper thigh.
"Well... shit," she sighed. There was a small, red mark staining the inside leg of her sleep pants.
Pretend that everything went according to plan, Mount Weather was disabled, and the Grounders and Sky People split on amiable terms after de-militarizing their enemy. Now, pretend Clarke’s still leader almost a year after that, and the main Sky People concern is maintaining permanent residence.

SAME UNIVERSE AU

Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation  by  Quentanilien

Summary: The gravitational force of attraction between two bodies in the universe is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

There is no flaw in the oxygen systems for Jake Griffin to find, and life continues on the Ark as normal. A decade later, Clarke Griffin is the youngest Chancellor in Ark history, and Bellamy Blake is a thorn in her side.

Love Will Come Through  by  monroeslittle

Summary: "The vows were short, perfunctory; Clarke was asked to say I do, and she did. There were rings, too: Bellamy’s fingers were warm against her hand when he slipped a ring on her finger, and she put a ring on his. They were instructed to kiss. His lips were dry, pressing against her mouth for a moment, and that was it. They were done.
She was a wife, and her husband was a stranger."
AU. Clarke winds up in an arranged marriage with Bellamy.

Show Me What I'm Looking For  by  bitscrawford

Summary: The surviving delinquents are sitting around the dropship, knees pulled to their chests, heads buried between their knees. Clarke can’t blame them for looking so weary, really. They’re too young to have just fought a battle, too young to know war so personally, too young to live with the fact that they just finished incinerating hundreds of grounders, hundreds of people.
Death is everywhere on the ground; it’s unavoidable. It’s remarkable that so many of them had survived for this long.

Canon compliant through Season 1, but Monty never went missing, the Mountain Men never showed up, and the Ark never came down.

TOTAL AU

Can't Buy Me Love by  kay_emm_gee

Summary: Clarke Griffin’s first introduction to the industrial town of Mechton is the gruff, harsh Bellamy Blake, and from that ill-fated meeting alone, she can’t imagine how she will begin to call this new place home. Soon, though, she finds that places grow on you, and also that people change, but only if you are willing to let yourself change as well.

One Girl In All The World by  kay_emm_gee

Summary: "Into every generation a slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone--"
Yeah, stop right there. Seems the prophecy isn't as ironclad as the Council thought, given that Clarke finds out on her first day of junior year that she isn't the only Slayer in Arkville anymore. Not that she minds Octavia--the girl is dedicated and enthusiastic, if a bit naive about what she is getting into. It's the brother-slash-Watcher that Clarke can't stand, though if Kane, her own Watcher, has his way, she'll be working alongside the pair for a long time.

As if saving the world and not failing out of high school wasn't enough, now she has Bellamy's snark and stubbornness to put up with. Just her luck, but who said being the Slayer was easy?

Livecasting Beaty and the Beast

In honor of BatB returning to theaters (and mostly the fact that I'm watching it right now at home... with my little sister) I decided to play casting director!

Belle

Imo, she is the most beautiful girl Disney has created.  While both intelligent and compassionate, she's a bit closed off from the other people in her town and seems to spend a great deal of time with her head in the clouds.  The actress who plays Belle needs to be able to pull off smart and sweet with a twist of feisty, because Belle is not one to back down and always speaks her mind.

Cast:  Keira Knightley

Now that I think about it, Belle has a lot in common with Elizabeth Bennett and I think Keira played that role extremely well.

The Beast

Has to be someone who can play angry but also uncover his soft side.

Cast:  Hugh Jackman

Wolverine anyone?

Gaston

Cast:  Dwayne Johnson

Lol - Just because I think he'd be hilarious in this role. :)

Cogsworth

Cast:  Jason Alexander

Lumiere

Cast:  Neil Patrick Harris

Mrs. Potts & Chip

Cast:  Judy Dench and Freddie Highmore

Maurice

Cast:  John Cleese

HAHA! This photo...

is pretty fantastic.  Kate Winslet tries to give Leonardo Dicaprio a friendly smooch and he... resists?  As awkward head tilt away suggests.  Charlize Theron is actually holding onto a chair but at first glance it totally looked like she was going in for the ultimate bear hug.  All like, I must get in on this super uncoordinated Titanic reunion.  As any Jack and Rose fan would.  All the while Elton John looks on skeptically in the background, all girlfriend no.

Jane by Design!

It's like this glorious mix of Pretty in Pink, the Devil Wears Prada, and Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead.  The main character even looks like the daughter of Molly Ringwald and Jon Cryer (yes, i know that's not how the movie ends, but dammit - it SHOULD have.  Duckie is a serious badass).  Serious LOVE.  It's ABC, so the acting is at times cheesy but yet adorable and the characters I like.

And you can watch the first two eps online!!  Do it, no regrets. ;)

See?  Molly R. x Jon C. = Jane!  (and dude, she made this prom dress from her MOM'S OLD FLUFFY PINK DRESS.  Subtle much show?  I think not.  And total love for that.)

And this is her Duckie!!  So cute, so loyal, and BETTER win her heart in the end. ;D

Jo Harvelle!

Sorry my Day 1 theme is so melancholy, will try for more upbeat tomorrow! :)

Fug Girls Downtime?

Hey, does anyone know if the Fug Girls blog is down right now or something? Their site wouldn't come up for me all evening, just a blank page saying "Welcome to nginx!"
